This amazing 350 kilometers round trip starts in L'Aquila and goes through the Gran Sasso of Italy National Park, Abruzzo National Park and Sirente Velino Regional Park.
The road for the whole trip is that beautiful that you would never want to jump off from your bike but there is so much to see..
After a 50 kilometers of breathless curvy road the first stop is at the Campotosto Lake (the second bigger artificial lake in Europe). The majesty of this lake deserve at least a quick look!

Now is time to say goodbye to the Gran Sasso of Italy National Park and ride for about 85 kilometers from Castel del Monte to Scanno in the earth of the Abruzzo National Park. When you'll be close to Scanno and its lovely lake slow down! The road is as stunning as it is tiny and tricky.
Now, after this long ride, is time to have some rest and there isn't a better place then Scanno for this. The city is beautiful, immersed into the nature and food is just great!
